"Godot on a Hot Tin Roof” is an extremely imaginative production which invites laughter in unpredictable ways, injects invaluable dosages of hope, and also offers relevant observations on theatre, film and literature, treating theses as possible ways for an essential understanding of the world. Although the lives of these dreamers are determined by a gruesomely bleak social circumstances, corruption and a constant social dilemma between staying and leaving the country, their idealism is not wasted at all. And such incurable optimism is no product of coincidences, but a very conscious attitude, to a certain extent also a form of protest against social injustices which cannot be eradicated - a premeditated modus vivendi.
