"The play The Language of Walls is great refreshment and a step forward on our dance scene. Its dance ensemble (seven female dancers and a musician) has produced an extremely demanding performance which includes speech, acting and dancing. They perfectly mastered Weizman's style of dancing, which is ecstatic and emotional and full of energy. The Language of Walls is a humorous, well rehearsed play, full of viral dance inspiring energy, and this impression was gained primarily thanks to the great enthusiasm and great interpretation of the dance ensemble. Exploring some typically female principles, in an active and convincing manner, Weizman speaks of jealousy, envy, vulnerability, an individual's struggle to fit in the social currents, about the feeling of being limited and restricted, which made it possible for each dancer to show her own individuality and her own dancing and artistic sensibility."
FORUM FOR NEW DANCE
The only ensemble of contemporary dance in our country which works within a professional theatre house is Forum for New Dance, initiated within the Ballet Department of the Serbian National Theatre in June 2002 with an intention to create a new space for exploring contemporary dance and theatre expression.
Its members are the female and male dancers of our Ballet, who are willing to, besides their standard repertoire, create performances widening their own and audiences' horizons of unconventional dance poetics, which earned them recognition in our country and abroad.
